Employment Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Employment Lawyer to join their legal team in Bristol . This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely combined with valuable in-office collaboration. You will be responsible for advising the business on all aspects of employment law, managing complex employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. This is an excellent opportunity for an employment law specialist who enjoys providing practical, commercially-minded advice and playing a key role in shaping HR policies and practices. You will work closely with the HR department and management to foster a positive and legally compliant workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on all aspects of UK employment law, including contracts, policies, dismissals, and discrimination issues.
• Draft and review employment contracts, service agreements, and HR policies.
• Manage and represent the company in employment tribunal claims and related litigation.
• Provide training to managers and staff on employment law matters.
• Conduct investigations into employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Stay current with changes in employment legislation and best practices.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 4 years of experience in employment law .
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
• Experience advising businesses on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex employee relations issues and tribunal claims.
• Comfortable working within a hybrid remote and office-based structure.
