About the Role

An opportunity exists for a talented Employment Solicitor to join a dynamic legal team in Wolverhampton . This role involves advising both employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters, from day-to-day HR issues to complex disputes and tribunal claims. You will be an integral part of the employment law department, providing clear, practical, and commercially sound advice. This position is ideal for a solicitor who is passionate about employment law and seeking to develop their expertise within a reputable firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise employers on all aspects of employment law, including contracts, policies, disciplinary procedures, and terminations.
• Represent clients in employment tribunal claims and any subsequent appeals.
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements and compromise agreements.
• Conduct employment law training for clients and internal staff.
• Stay abreast of legislative changes and case law impacting employment law.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with experience in employment law .
• A minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience, with a strong understanding of employment legislation.
• Experience in advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage a demanding caseload.
