Employment Solicitor (2+ years') - Edinburgh

A highly regardedfirm is looking to expand its Employment team in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team acting predominantly for employer clients across a broad range of sectors. You'll enjoy exposure to a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working alongside experienced colleagues on high-quality work.

The Role

You’ll advise clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including:

• Day-to-day employment advice
• Employment Tribunal litigation
• Redundancy and restructuring projects
• TUPE and business transfers
• Drafting and reviewing employment documentation
• Supporting corporate transactions from an employment law perspective
• Delivering client training and seminars where appropriate

You’ll also work closely with colleagues across a number of practice areas to provide commercially focused advice to clients.

About You

You’ll be a Scots or English law qualified solicitor with at least two years' employment law experience and a genuine enthusiasm for building your career in this area.

The successful candidate will be:

• Commercially minded with strong technical ability
• Confident building lasting client relationships
• An excellent communicator with strong drafting skills
• Able to manage their own workload while working collaboratively within a team
• Keen to contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice
