Employment Solicitor
Location: Manchester. Salary: Circa £80,000 (DOE). PQE: 5–7.
Role Overview
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a rapidly expanding employment team handling matters end-to-end across a range of contentious and noncontentious streams. Acting for a diverse client base, this role involves the delivery of pragmatic commercial advice on a varied caseload including high-value tribunal claims concerning whistleblowing, discrimination and unfair dismissal, senior executive appointments and exits, restrictive covenants, restructures and redundancies and TUPE.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pragmatic commercial advice on a varied caseload including high-value tribunal claims concerning whistleblowing, discrimination and unfair dismissal, senior executive appointments and exits, restrictive covenants, restructures and redundancies and TUPE.
- Mentor junior members of the team and engage with the business development of the practice.
Candidate
Applications are welcomed from Employment Solicitors possessing 5–7 years PQE, coupled with a solid history of managing an individual employment caseload and drafting. Confidence in supervising less experienced team members and effective delegating within a busy environment is necessary, and previous experience of advocacy work is preferable but not required. The successful candidate will also possess an appetite for client development.
