End Point Assessor – Early Years & Teaching Assistant

End-Point Assessor in Early Years and Teaching Assistant. Around the Bristol, Gloucester and Hereford areas. Rewarding role as End Point Assessor carrying out apprenticeship assessments for Early Years care and Teaching Assistants.

As End Point Assessor ( Early Years & Teaching Assistant ) you will work with Apprentices and their employers to plan, carry out and report on End Point Assessments. Your responsibilities will include:

• making decisions on apprenticeship standards / overall grades
• administration tasks / responding to queries
• keeping sector knowledge up to date

This role is varied and flexible and will include both working from home and visits out in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

As End Point Assessor you will have a relevant qualification and current, hands‑on, professional experience in Early Years or in the classroom. You will also have:

• knowledge of IQA assessment processes/observations
• experience of professional discussions / reviewing learners’ showcase of evidence
• ability to work autonomously, in line with an operating framework
• awareness and understanding learner difficulties/disabilities & social needs

Assessor training is available for candidates with good experience in the Early Years sector or in education.

This role is varied and flexible and will include both working from home and visits out in the field so access to a vehicle is a must.

PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE

To be an Assessor you would need to hold either an A1/2, D32/33, or CAVA , which we have a link to HERE . Similarly, if you are to be a FE practitioner, in other words, a Trainer, you should hold at a minimum the AET (Level 3 Award in Education and Training) . The position does not specifically ask for these, but it is in our professional opinion that you need to have either qualification before applying.
