About the Role
Our client seeks a proactive Energy Efficiency Consultant to join their team in Bradford . This hybrid role focuses on assessing energy consumption in commercial and industrial facilities, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending sustainable solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their operational needs and develop strategies that reduce energy costs and environmental impact. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits and surveys of commercial and industrial buildings to identify areas of waste.
- Analyze energy usage data and develop detailed reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Design and propose energy efficiency measures, including HVAC upgrades, lighting solutions, and process optimizations.
- Calculate the financial and environmental benefits of proposed energy-saving projects.
- Assist clients in implementing energy efficiency strategies and monitoring their performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest energy-saving technologies, policies, and best practices in the energy sector .
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy management, sustainability consulting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in energy auditing techniques and familiarity with relevant software tools.
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, lighting, insulation) and industrial processes.
- Excellent analytical, report writing, and presentation skills for client engagement.
- Knowledge of government incentives and regulations related to energy efficiency is a plus.
