About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Energy Efficiency Consultant to join their sustainability services team in Belfast . You will be instrumental in advising businesses on reducing their energy consumption and carbon footprint. This role involves conducting energy audits, recommending energy-saving measures, and helping clients implement strategies for greater efficiency. You will work with a diverse range of clients across various industries, providing expert guidance and solutions that contribute to a more sustainable energy sector and support environmental goals, requiring strong technical knowledge and excellent client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive energy audits for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Analyse energy usage data and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
- Develop detailed reports with recommendations for energy-saving technologies and operational changes.
- Assist clients in implementing recommended energy efficiency strategies and technologies.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in energy efficiency and sustainability best practices within the energy industry .
- Educate clients on energy conservation methods and the benefits of sustainable practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an Energy Consultant or in a similar role focused on energy efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, energy management, and sustainable technologies.
- Experience with energy auditing tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities for client engagement.
