Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify battery energy storage systems (BESS), including battery chemistry selection, power conversion systems, and balance of plant.
• Develop control strategies and software for BESS operation, optimization, and grid interaction.
• Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of energy storage projects.
• Analyze system performance data and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and construction teams to deliver projects successfully.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy storage systems design, development, or deployment.
• Strong knowledge of battery technologies (e.g., Lithium-ion), power electronics, and grid integration principles.
• Experience with simulation and modeling tools for energy storage systems.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE) and safety protocols.
