Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify energy storage systems (ESS), including battery chemistry selection, power electronics, and control systems.
- Develop and implement integration strategies for ESS with renewable generation assets and the grid.
- Perform system modeling, simulation, and performance analysis for various ESS applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during system deployment and operation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and grid codes .
- Collaborate with procurement, project management, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy storage systems or power electronics.
- Strong understanding of battery technologies, inverters, and control strategies for ESS.
- Familiarity with grid integration requirements and power system analysis.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
