Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer battery energy storage systems (BESS) , including component selection and system architecture.
• Develop control strategies and software for BESS operation, optimization, and grid interaction.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of energy storage projects.
• Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting of operational BESS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, procurement, and operations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the design and integration of energy storage systems .
• Strong knowledge of battery chemistries, power conversion systems, and grid integration standards.
• Experience with simulation and modeling tools for energy storage performance.
• Excellent project execution and problem-solving skills for deployment in Reading .
