Engineering Manager

Overview

This organization is working with cutting‑edge technology in some of the most intense and challenging industries globally.

They're seeking an experienced engineering leader who has experience in manufacturing / production environments - ideally for complex electro‑mechanical products.

You will lead a team of eight manufacturing engineers, providing a high level of engineering support at this world‑class manufacturing facility near Middlesbrough.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production support, servicing, commissioning and FAT, new product introduction (NPI), introduction of new equipment and technologies, and achievement of departmental KPIs.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and constantly review ways to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead safety and compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments, ideally for complex electro‑mechanical products.
• Degree‑level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline such as "Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing".
• Training in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or a similar methodology.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as Defence or Aerospace.
• Senior or Lead Engineer ready to take on a leadership role.

Benefits

Salary up to £65,000 depending on skills and experience. Includes generous holiday allowance, healthcare cover and enhanced sick pay.
