Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager An exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a successful and innovative manufacturing business in East Yorkshire, leading a multi-disciplinary team across Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineering.

The Role

• Lead, develop and drive performance across the Engineering team
• Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of engineering drawings, models and BOMs
• Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and right-first-time performance
• Improve products and manufacturing processes through DFMA and engineering change
• Monitor KPIs across cost, quality, delivery and efficiency
• Support technical quotations and new customer requirements
• Maintain strong quality and compliance standards, including CE marking

What We’re Looking For

• Strong engineering background and relevant qualification
• Proven Engineering Management and people leadership experience
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Knowledge of drawings, BOMs and product/manufacturing processes
• Commercially aware with strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills
• A collaborative, hands‑on leader who can drive accountability, improvement and results
