Job Description
As an Engineering Supervisor (Electrical Bias), you will lead a team of 8 maintenance engineers within a busy recycling facility, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, drive continuous improvement activities, and maximise plant uptime across a 4-on-4-off day shift pattern.

Description
Lead and supervise a team of 8 maintenance engineers.
Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown activities.
Ensure maximum plant availability and equipment reliability.
Provide hands-on electrical fault finding and technical support.
Drive continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with site Health & Safety procedures.
Monitor engineering KPIs and maintenance performance.
Manage contractors and specialist service providers on site.
Support project work, installations, and equipment upgrades.
Work closely with operations to optimise production performance.
Conduct regular team meetings, appraisals, and training activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records through the CMMS system.Profile
A successful Engineering Supervisor should have:
Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within engineering and manufacturing environments.
Ability to plan and prioritise maintenance tasks effectively.
