Join a well-established manufacturing business as the Electrical Maintenance Team Leader, leading a small engineering team while remaining hands‑on with maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior maintenance engineer ready to step into leadership, or an experienced team leader looking for a stable days‑based role with no weekend working.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a small team of one mechanically biased and one newly qualified engineer.
• Manage and develop the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Prioritise maintenance activities and coordinate engineering resources.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance.
• Support production teams with engineering solutions.
• Maintain compliance, documentation and safety standards.
• Assist with contractor management and site improvement projects.

Requirements

Essential

• Electrical maintenance background in manufacturing
• 18th Edition (or willingness to update)
• Fault‑finding experience
• Some leadership or supervisory experience

Desirable

• PLC fault finding
• Panel wiring
• Conveyors
• 2391
• Packaging experience
