Night Shift Engineering Team Leader
Salary: 57,000 - 62,000 + benefits
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 6pm to 6am
Commutable from: March, Wisbech, Chatteris, Whittlesey, Peterborough, Ely, Downham Market, King's Lynn
The Role
- Lead and support the engineering team through the night shift, working hands-on alongside them on maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate and prioritise maintenance activities and breakdown responses.
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and root cause analysis to reduce recurring issues.
- Drive planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement to maximise uptime.
- Keep accurate CMMS records and uphold health, safety and compliance standards.
- Act as the key engineering point of contact for production and factory management on shift.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisory or Engineering Leadership role.
- A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent apprenticeship) in Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering.
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similarly fast-paced production environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
