We are looking for an experienced English & Maths Tutor to provide flexible 1:1 tuition to a learner in Runcorn.

This opportunity would suit a versatile educator who can support core academic skills while adapting sessions to the learner's individual abilities and educational targets.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver 1:1 English and Maths tuition Plan sessions around individual learning objectives Identify and address gaps in knowledge Adapt resources and teaching approaches Encourage learner participation and confidence Develop independent study skills Record and communicate progress

Requirements

Strong knowledge of English and Maths Previous teaching or tutoring experience Experience working with children or young people Ability to differentiate learning effectively Patient and adaptable approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Right to Work in the UK Two professional child-related references
