An exciting opportunity has arisen for a support worker to join the Ruby Team at Whipps Cross Hospital

We are looking for someone who is Enthusiastic, Dynamic and Reliablewho is passionate about creating excellent birthing experiences for women and families with complex social factors .

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the MDT, to support women and their families throughout their journey.The Ruby Team Caseloads and provides Midwifery Care to women whoexperienceModerate to Severe Mental Health Issues, Victims of Domestic Abuse, Teenage Pregnancies, Learning Disabilities, Asylum Seekers with no support, Substance Misuse, Complex Safeguarding Issues etc.

• The post holder will support the Ruby Team providing safe care in the community and hospital settings. You will support our most vulnerable families and women within these teams
• . In addition, you will assist the midwifery staff to undertake assigned tasks and take appropriate interventions for women and their babies with minimal support but under direction of the midwife.
• The post holder will be responsible for liaising with external providers and stakeholders to develop and accumulate an effective system to enable the collection of reportable data
