Overview

Enterprise Architect - Hybrid (Nottingham) - £80-85K + car - Permanent

An experienced candidate is sought to join a major transformation programme across a very large enterprise, ensuring architectural coherence, strategy and governance are robust. The key priority is to create the enterprise roadmap to enable coherent, consistent decisions and to understand risk, dependencies and opportunities as the organisation transforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical and business teams, and architecture colleagues to bring a single view of the organisation and alignment across a distributed architecture function.

The role is primarily focused on influencing rather than enforcing; it is not a managerial role, and you will need strong skills in adding value and bringing people on the journey without direct authority. You will have prior experience as an Enterprise Architect, ideally in a large enterprise, and involvement in major transformations.

• Create and maintain the enterprise roadmap to enable coherent decisions, risk assessment, and identification of dependencies and opportunities during transformation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical and business teams, and architects to deliver a single, aligned view across a distributed architecture function.
• Influence outcomes through value-driven engagement rather than formal authority.
• Contribute as an experienced Enterprise Architect with a track record of major transformations in large enterprises.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders and to communicate complex architecture concepts clearly.
• Willingness to be onsite in Nottingham for a couple of days per week.
