Job Description
Our client, a leading independent consulting and engineering services group, is currently seeking an Environmental Consultant to join their team in the water sector.
Key Responsibilities
Work independently and within project teams to provide environmental input into designs and site support activities Analyse and interpret data followed by technical report writing Ensure environmental compliance in line with client's standards, requirements, and policies Interface with clients for environmental coordination, resolving queries and issues Preparation of technical material to inform decision making Support the senior team members in the delivery of environmental workstreams Maintain the ISO 14000 audit documentation and process for the UK and Ireland office
Job Requirements:
Degree Qualified in any of the environmental disciplines Previous experience of working in an environmental role, ideally in a consultancy Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to write technical reports Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with other technical specialists Decision-making ability to gather and synthesize information, identify options, and apply judgment based on logic and reason Problem-solving capability to identify complex problems, review and analyse information, and evaluate options to implement solutions Knowledge of EU and UK environmental legislation and current best practice guidance
