Environmental Manager - Cheshire - construction major projects - £58k-£62kand other flexible benefits
Role:
Supporting the Environment and Sustainability Manager and the construction site teams in implementing an effective environmental management system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with environmental planning and reviewing records.
- Conducting environmental audits and inspections.
- Providing guidance on physical site environmental controls.
- Supporting the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System.
- Monitoring and reporting on environmental compliance and sustainability performance.
Skills/experience required:
- Experience of environmental controls and management systems within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation
- Experience of working with an ISO 14001 certified management system
- Full UK driving licence (car allowance or car is available)
- CSCS card (desirable)
- Relevant degree or environmental qualification
