About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Services Assistant to contribute to maintaining pristine conditions in various facilities located in Brighton . This role is pivotal in ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment for occupants and visitors. You will undertake a variety of cleaning and sanitation duties, employing effective methods to meet high standards. We are looking for an individual who is dependable, thorough, and committed to excellence in facility upkeep, playing a vital part in the overall presentation and hygiene of the premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute routine cleaning tasks across assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
• Clean and maintain communal areas, kitchens, and office spaces as per established procedures.
• Manage and properly store cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any issues or shortages.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the correct use of cleaning agents and protective equipment.
• Assist with periodic deep cleaning projects and special event preparations as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or environmental services role is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage workload effectively.
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning products.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
