About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous Environmental Services Technician to join their team in Southampton . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of all assigned areas, including offices, common spaces, and restrooms.
• Manage waste removal and recycling programs in accordance with environmental guidelines.
• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, ensuring its proper function and care.
• Perform specialized cleaning tasks as needed, such as floor care and window cleaning.
• Follow strict health and safety protocols, including the correct use of cleaning agents and PPE.
• Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs observed during cleaning rounds.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an environmental services or cleaning role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
• Good understanding of cleaning procedures and the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Physical capability to handle the demands of the role, including standing, bending, and lifting.
