Key Responsibilities

• Perform general and specialized cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and operating theaters, adhering to infection control standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Dispose of waste, including medical and general waste, according to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries, cleaning agents, and linens in designated areas.
• Respond promptly to cleaning needs and emergencies within the facility.
• Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance or facility issues encountered.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or environmental services role, preferably within a healthcare or similar institutional setting.
• Knowledge of infection control principles and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to operate and maintain various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
