About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organised Equipment Installation Specialist to join their Installation & Maintenance team in Reading . This role involves managing and executing the physical installation of specialized equipment at various customer sites. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless integration, proper setup, and initial operational checks. While hands-on installation is key, some planning and remote coordination will also be part of your responsibilities, making this a versatile role within the Berkshire area. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical mindset and a flair for organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the installation of equipment according to design specifications and site requirements.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery of equipment to installation sites.
• Perform physical installation tasks, ensuring all components are correctly positioned and secured.
• Conduct pre-commissioning checks and initial system testing.
• Prepare site reports and documentation upon completion of installations.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all site-specific health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in equipment installation, site operations, or a similar field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation manuals.
• Practical skills in using tools and equipment related to installations.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
• Must hold a valid UK driving license and be comfortable travelling to different sites.
