About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent Equipment Installer to join their expanding operations in Cardiff . This role involves the installation, maintenance, and occasional repair of specialized equipment for a diverse client base across Wales . While much of the work is on-site, there will be opportunities for remote planning, reporting, and training sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test various types of equipment at customer premises.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and preventative servicing to ensure optimal equipment function.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during installation or operation.
• Liaise with clients to schedule installations and provide clear updates on progress.
• Maintain detailed service reports and inventory logs.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations on all work sites.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar installation or field service role is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
