Estate Agent - Sales and Lettings

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Estate Agent to join their busy branch in Southampton . This role involves managing all aspects of property sales and lettings, from registering new instructions and conducting viewings to negotiating offers and progressing sales to completion. You will be the face of the company in Hampshire, building relationships with buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants, and delivering exceptional customer service to achieve targets and maintain the firm's excellent reputation in the local property market.

Key Responsibilities

• Register new properties for sale and let, providing accurate market valuations.
• Conduct property viewings with prospective buyers and tenants, highlighting key features.
• Manage the offer process, negotiating effectively between parties to achieve agreed terms.
• Liaise with solicitors, mortgage advisors, and other parties to ensure smooth progression of sales and lettings.
• Maintain communication with clients, providing regular updates on their property's progress.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Southampton property market.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an Estate Agent or in a similar sales role within property.
• Strong understanding of the property sales and lettings process.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• A confident and proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
• Knowledge of the Hampshire property market is a distinct advantage.
