About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Estate Management Assistant to support the management team of a large estate near Plymouth . This diverse role involves assisting with the day-to-day operations across various estate functions, including agricultural, forestry, and property maintenance aspects. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in rural estate management, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to undertake practical tasks as needed. You will gain broad experience in managing a rural property and its associated activities, working closely with the Head of Estate Management and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of agricultural and forestry operations.
- Coordinate the scheduling of property maintenance and repairs with internal teams and external contractors.
- Maintain accurate records related to estate activities, budgets, and compliance.
- Support the Head of Estate Management with administrative tasks, correspondence, and meeting preparation.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure standards are met.
- Assist with event organization and tenant liaison as required.
Requirements
- Experience in estate management, agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible approach and willingness to undertake a variety of duties.
