We are recruiting an Estimator for a specialist engineering contractor working in structural repair and strengthening.
The role
- Assess tender documents, drawings and specifications.
- Develop estimates covering labour, materials, plant and subcontract packages.
- Review quotations and identify technical and commercial risks.
- Work with operational and technical colleagues on construction methods.
- Support tender submissions, negotiations and project handovers.
About you
You will bring relevant experience in structural repairs or specialist construction, including developing business opportunities.
Your knowledge may cover bridge or concrete repairs, cathodic protection, bearing replacement, structural strengthening, jacking, propping or post-tensioning.
A relevant engineering or construction qualification would be advantageous, as would an operational or project delivery background.
