As part of their established estimating team, you will contribute to their successful, experienced, and diverse tendering group.Key Responsibilities:Interpreting client tender requirements from PQQ and ITT documentationTake off and review the BoQ's from the client informationPrepare estimates promptlyCollate supporting information during the estimating process, including opportunity and risk registers, together with key assumptions registersWork collaboratively with the Bid Manager, regional business, and planner to agree on methodology and principlesWork alongside the Business Development officers on strategic PQQ's and ITTsPrepare the estimating adjudication packClose out actions and monitor customer negotiations, seeking amended authority as requiredPrepare to estimate the handover packPresent the basis of the estimate and key assumptionsProvide ongoing support to site teams relating to estimating and key assumptionsJob Requirements:Experience in estimating or an interest in moving into an estimating roleExperience in Civil Engineering sector -shafts, tunnelling, pipelines, and groundworksCompetence in construction techniques and resource requirementsProficiency with tender build-upsNumerate and familiar with estimating softwareBenefits:Competitive salaryCompany PensionLife AssurancePrivate Medical25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays and loyalty daysFlexible benefits via salary sacrificeCompany car/ car allowanceIf you are a driven and collaborative individual with estimating experience, looking to join a dynamic and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
