Event Catering Manager

About the Role

Our client, a leading event catering service in Birmingham , is looking for a highly organised and client-focused Event Catering Manager to join their vibrant team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and successful delivery of all catered events, from initial client consultation through to post-event evaluation. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with the kitchen, front-of-house staff, and external vendors to guarantee exceptional service and guest satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with a passion for hospitality to manage and execute high-profile events in the West Midlands area.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end delivery of all catered events, ensuring client expectations are exceeded.
• Develop detailed event plans, including staffing schedules, logistics, and on-site coordination.
• Act as the main liaison between clients and the catering team, providing expert advice and solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure all venue requirements are met for successful event execution.
• Manage on-site teams during events, ensuring seamless service and timely execution of all catering aspects.
• Handle client feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event management or catering management , preferably within a busy, high-volume environment.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Proficiency in event planning software and standard office applications.
