Event Catering Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and highly organized Event Catering Manager to oversee all aspects of their event catering services in Leeds . This role involves managing a diverse range of events, from corporate functions to private parties, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client satisfaction. You will be responsible for client liaison, menu planning, budget management, staffing, and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of the hospitality and events industry. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of event catering, from initial client consultation to post-event follow-up.
• Develop customized menus and proposals in line with client requirements and budget constraints.
• Oversee event logistics, including staffing, equipment, venue setup, and service flow.
• Liaise with clients to ensure their vision is realized and expectations are exceeded.
• Manage catering budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness for each event.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event management or catering management, preferably within a high-end or corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations and service standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in event planning software and MS Office Suite.
