About the Role

Our client is looking for enthusiastic and flexible Event Catering Staff to join their pool of casual workers for various events across Norwich and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the dynamic events industry, working in roles such as waiting staff, bar staff, setup crew, and general assistants. You will contribute to delivering exceptional service and ensuring the smooth running of diverse events, from intimate dinners to large banquets, as part of a supportive team environment in the hospitality sector .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including furniture arrangement and decor.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Prepare and serve drinks at event bars.
• Clear tables and maintain the cleanliness of event spaces throughout service.
• Assist with basic food preparation and plating as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest needs and inquiries efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial, but not essential.
