Event Chef - Contract

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and adaptable Event Chef on a contract basis to cater for a series of high-profile events across Liverpool . You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard, ensuring efficient service and excellent food quality under pressure. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook diverse menus for various events, from canapés to plated meals.
• Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and to the client's specifications.
• Manage kitchen operations at event venues, including setup and breakdown.
• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation standards throughout each event.
• Work collaboratively with event organizers and catering teams to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Event Chef or in a similar high-volume catering role.
• Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP principles, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
• Excellent culinary skills and adaptability to different cuisines and styles.
• Valid food hygiene certificate is essential.
