About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and creative Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various events at their venue in Bristol . You will be responsible for managing all aspects of events, from initial concept development and budgeting to vendor coordination and on-site management, ensuring seamless and successful experiences for clients. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality events that meet client objectives and exceed expectations. You will work closely with sales, catering, and operational teams to bring visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, weddings, and corporate functions.
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as catering, AV, and banqueting to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, providing on-site management and troubleshooting.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event management, with a portfolio showcasing successful events.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
