About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Event Marketing Coordinator to support their event strategy in Portsmouth . This role involves assisting in the planning, execution, and promotion of various events, both virtual and in-person. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure seamless event experiences that align with brand messaging and drive attendee engagement. This hybrid position offers a blend of office-based collaboration and remote flexibility, ideal for a proactive individual eager to gain hands-on experience in event marketing within the arts and entertainment sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and scheduling.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to promote events, utilizing channels such as email, social media, and digital advertising.
• Create event-related collateral, such as invitations, flyers, and promotional materials.
• Manage attendee registration and communication before, during, and after events.
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations and attendee satisfaction.
• Track event performance metrics and contribute to post-event analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Proven organizational and project management skills.
• Experience in marketing or event coordination, or a relevant internship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
