Event Producer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Event Producer to manage and deliver exceptional events within the arts and entertainment sphere, remotely supporting projects based in Edinburgh and beyond. You will oversee all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization and budgeting to execution and post-event analysis, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for attendees. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and teams across different locations. It's an ideal opportunity for an experienced producer passionate about creating impactful cultural experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, budgeting, and logistical execution of diverse arts and entertainment events.
• Source and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and entertainment talent.
• Develop event timelines, contingency plans, and ensure all health and safety regulations are met.
• Coordinate event marketing, ticketing, and on-site operations (where applicable or through local teams).
• Oversee the creative aspects of events, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and theme.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and reporting to assess success and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Event Producer , with a strong portfolio in arts and entertainment events.
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in budget management and financial forecasting for events.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and collaboration tools for remote teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote coordination.
