Events and Campaigns Officer

About the Role

Our client, a vibrant charity supporting youth development, is seeking a dynamic Events and Campaigns Officer to spearhead their fundraising and awareness initiatives in Cardiff . This role will involve the planning, execution, and promotion of engaging events and campaigns that connect with the community and drive support for our client's youth programs. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of event logistics, marketing, and donor engagement, playing a crucial role in expanding our client's reach and impact. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute a variety of fundraising events, including galas, runs, and community fairs in Cardiff .
• Develop and manage integrated marketing and communication plans for events and awareness campaigns.
• Engage with corporate sponsors, community groups, and individual donors to secure support and participation.
• Oversee event budgets, manage supplier relationships, and ensure seamless event delivery.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide reports on key metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in event management and/or campaign coordination, preferably within the charity sector .
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent marketing and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• A proactive approach and a passion for supporting youth development causes in Cardiff .
