About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Events & Hospitality Manager to oversee all aspects of event planning and hospitality services for their premier venue in Edinburgh . This role is instrumental in ensuring seamless execution of events, from corporate functions and weddings to private parties, delivering exceptional experiences for clients and guests. You will manage a team of event staff and caterers, maintain high standards of service, and drive revenue growth through strategic event marketing and client relationship management. The ideal candidate is adept at managing multiple priorities, possesses outstanding communication skills, and has a passion for delivering memorable events.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events, ensuring all client requirements and expectations are met or exceeded.
• Manage all aspects of hospitality services, including catering, beverage service, and venue setup, maintaining impeccable standards.
• Develop and manage event budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth event operations.
• Lead, train, and motivate the events and hospitality team, fostering a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management, with a strong focus on hospitality services.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
