Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join their team in Belfast . You will be instrumental in the planning, organisation, and execution of a variety of catering events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for clients. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and the internal team to bring event visions to life, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence in event management.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements, providing proposals and managing expectations.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, catering arrangements, and staffing.
- Manage event timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
- Source and liaise with external suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Oversee on-site event management, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event coordination or event management, preferably within the catering or hospitality sector.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
