About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Events Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Cardiff . You will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ensuring seamless logistics and memorable experiences for attendees. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to bring events to life, from initial concept through to post-event analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, catering, AV, and staffing.
- Develop event proposals, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Liaise with clients to understand their event objectives and ensure satisfaction throughout the planning process.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
- Manage on-site event logistics, troubleshoot issues, and provide excellent customer service to attendees and clients in Cardiff .
- Conduct post-event evaluations and report on key performance metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event coordination or event management.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in event management software and standard office suites.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and event design.
