Events Fundraising Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and organised Events Fundraising Coordinator to support their expanding fundraising activities in Glasgow . This role is crucial for assisting in the planning, organisation, and execution of a diverse range of fundraising events, from large-scale community challenges to smaller, targeted donor gatherings. You will work closely with the fundraising team to ensure events are delivered efficiently, effectively, and provide an excellent experience for participants, maximising income generation and supporter engagement. This is an excellent entry point into event fundraising for someone passionate about the charity sector and eager to develop their event management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and logistics for various fundraising events, including venue booking, supplier management, and event materials.
• Assist in the promotion and marketing of events to attract participants and raise awareness.
• Provide administrative support to the fundraising team, including managing event databases and responding to enquiries.
• Coordinate with volunteers and event staff to ensure smooth event delivery on the day.
• Track event income and expenditure, contributing to budget management and financial reporting.
• Contribute creative ideas for new fundraising events and initiatives to enhance supporter engagement.

  Requirements
• Previous experience in event support, administration, or fundraising coordination is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new database systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
