Events Fundraising Coordinator

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic charity organisation, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Fundraising Coordinator to join their team in Southampton . This role is integral to the success of the organisation's fundraising efforts, focusing on the planning, organisation, and execution of a variety of fundraising events. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure events are delivered smoothly, maximise income, and enhance the organisation's profile within the Hampshire community and beyond. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of a diverse range of fundraising events, from small community gatherings to larger-scale initiatives.
• Manage event logistics, including venue sourcing, supplier management, budgeting, and on-the-day execution.
• Develop engaging event marketing materials and promotional activities to drive ticket sales and participant engagement.
• Liaise with participants, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure a positive experience and maximise fundraising potential.
• Accurately record event income and expenditure, providing post-event reports on performance and lessons learned for future charity events.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event planning or coordination, preferably within a fundraising or charitable setting.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups.
