Events Fundraising Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Events Fundraising Coordinator to support their mission in Coventry . You will be instrumental in planning, promoting, and executing a variety of fundraising events, from sponsored walks and runs to community fairs and corporate challenges. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, engage effectively with participants and volunteers, and ensure events are successful in generating both income and awareness for our cause. You will be a key point of contact for event logistics and participant support, contributing directly to our fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the logistics and delivery of diverse fundraising events, ensuring smooth operation on the day.
• Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers, providing clear guidance and support.
• Develop and implement event promotion strategies across various channels, including social media and local press.
• Manage event budgets, track income and expenditure, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Liaise with suppliers, venues, and stakeholders to secure necessary resources and services for events.

Requirements

• Experience in event management, project coordination, or fundraising, preferably within the charity sector.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
