About the Role
Our client, a well-regarded charity supporting (insert cause), is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Events Fundraising Manager to lead their event strategy in Oxford . This role is pivotal in conceptualising, planning, and executing a diverse range of fundraising events, from large-scale galas and sponsored challenges to community-based activities. You will be responsible for maximising income generation from events, enhancing supporter engagement, and ensuring memorable experiences for all participants. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic annual events fundraising plan to achieve ambitious income targets.
- Manage all aspects of event planning, logistics, and execution, including budgeting, venue selection, and supplier management.
- Cultivate relationships with event sponsors, key donors, and participants to maximise support.
- Oversee event promotion and marketing to ensure maximum attendance and engagement.
- Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers to assist with event delivery.
- Analyse event performance, gather feedback, and report on outcomes to inform future planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event management and fundraising, ideally within the charity sector.
- Demonstrated success in planning and delivering profitable fundraising events.
- Excellent organisational, project management, and budgeting skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.
