About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Events Manager to join their team in Brighton , focusing on festivals and live events. This role involves the planning, organization, and execution of various events from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for venue management, supplier liaison, marketing support, and on-site coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
- Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials and strategies.
- Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring smooth execution and effective problem-solving.
- Manage registration, ticketing, and attendee communications throughout the event lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event management , particularly with festivals or large-scale live events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with budget management and financial reporting for events.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances in a live event setting.
