About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Events Manager to lead their events division in Manchester . This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a wide range of events, from corporate functions to social gatherings. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and ensure seamless execution from conception to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual, and entertainment.
- Develop event proposals, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful collaboration.
- Oversee on-site event management, problem-solving any issues that may arise during the event.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry professionals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event management , with a portfolio showcasing successful events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management for events.
