About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Events Operations Manager to join their dynamic team in Leeds . You will be responsible for the seamless execution of a wide range of events, from corporate functions and conferences to private celebrations. This role requires meticulous planning, effective coordination of suppliers and staff, and a keen eye for detail to ensure every event is a resounding success. You will manage all logistical aspects, including venue setup, catering, technical requirements, and on-the-day management. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the vibrant events industry in West Yorkshire , delivering exceptional experiences for clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute a diverse portfolio of events from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, caterers, and venue staff to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Develop detailed event schedules, floor plans, and production timelines.
- Oversee on-site event operations, troubleshooting any issues that may arise and ensuring smooth execution.
- Manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring profitability.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Events Management or Operations, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Familiarity with event technology and AV requirements.
