Title: Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer Location: Hospice-based with occasional homeworking Hours: 30 - 37.5 hours per week Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 DOE Closing date: 11 October 2026 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at The Shakespeare Hospice, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, South Warwickshire. This is a key role supporting the CEO, Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team, helping to strengthen governance administration, coordinate organisational priorities and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a pivotal member of the team and a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. They will provide high-quality executive and administrative support to the CEO, Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team, coordinating meetings, agendas, actions, reporting requirements and key communications across the Hospice. The postholder will work closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team to help coordinate organisational priorities and strategic activities, supporting effective decision-making, cross-departmental communication and the delivery of high-quality care for patients with life-limiting illness and those approaching the end of life. We are looking for someone to join our team who has experience of working with boards and executive teams, the post holder must be willing to, on occasions, be able to support events out of normal working hours.
