Reading | Permanent | Term Time Only + 2 Weeks | 37.5 Hours per Week
Salary: £31,533 - £35,368 (Term Time Only + 2 Weeks)
Equivalent Full-Time Salary: £39,041 - £43,789.
Are you an experienced Executive Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity within a prestigious educational setting?
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected independent school in Reading for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the Head. This is a varied and influential role, requiring excellent organisational skills, discretion and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head, you will provide comprehensive executive support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Head's Office.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a busy and ever-changing diary
Coordinating meetings, appointments and school events
Acting as the first point of contact for staff, parents, governors and external stakeholders
Managing correspondence, emails and confidential communications
Preparing reports, presentations and meeting papers
Taking accurate minutes and monitoring follow-up actions
Supporting governance meetings and wider school events
Assisting with recruitment administration and senior leadership activities
Maintaining accurate electronic filing systems and documentation.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or senior administrative experience
Outstanding organisational and diary management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Office skills
The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work proactively
A professional, approachable and confidential manner
Experience supporting senior stakeholders within a fast-paced environment.
