About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly competent and discreet Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to a C-level executive within their Birmingham headquarters. This role is integral to ensuring the executive's productivity and effectiveness by managing their schedule, communications, and travel logistics with utmost precision. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle confidential information with complete integrity, serving as a crucial facilitator for the executive’s daily activities and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex and dynamic calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference calls for the executive.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the executive.
- Arrange and coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, and itinerary planning.
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications, including emails and phone calls, directing them as appropriate.
- Conduct research and prepare background materials for meetings and projects.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a high-level administrative support role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a demanding Birmingham setting.
- Discretion and a high level of professionalism in handling sensitive information.
